"After sacrificing nearly 100 hours of my life to Diablo 4, I've barely scratched the surface of what it has to offer" Diablo 4 is devilishly good – the best Diablo game yet, in fact – and it only stands to get better. But more importantly, we can’t wait to start a new character and jump once again into the endgame. And what a story it tells: we never expected to be so invested. All the while, it’s not too focused on the past, taking the series into open world territory and making it more story-led than ever before. This is a title that takes Diablo 3’s meaningful quality-of-life improvements and expands upon them with aplomb, while also bringing back the much-loved look and feel of Diablo 2. We had high expectations for Diablo 4, and we’re so happy to say that Blizzard has smashed them. It is a stellar sequel – and one that works hard to appeal to every fan of this beloved franchise. This doesn't take away from Diablo 4 representing the next evolution in the series. It offers something for everyone but misses out on that acquired yet curated taste of the older entries.
